Located in the quiet village of Lampini, 3km from Spili, Villa Amalthee offers guests a beautiful villa with a pool and spacious outdoor areas. It has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, and an additional toilet on the ground floor. It has large furnished terraces on both floors. Lampini is a small traditional village with a large church dating back to the 11th century and a few small cafes. The village of Mixourrouma is nearby, offering great amenities, including a shop/bakery and a taverna. The famous village of Spili also has a range of traditional tavernas, larger supermarkets and several tourist attractions.

As well as the private pool , the property also boasts a barbecue area and large gardens, which include an abundance of plants such as grape vines, lemon trees, a pear tree, and an orange tree- all of which guests are more than welcome to help themselves to if there is fruit on them at the time of their visit. Furthermore, there are large terrace areas on both floors- offering stunning views of the pool and surrounding areas.

The house is in a peaceful mountainous area, where the main noises you hear are simply the bells of nearby sheep and the noises from crickets. Away from the noise of major towns, you can simply relax and enjoy the beauty of the area- or go on beautiful walks on the hiking routes nearby. Despite this, bars in the small village of Lampini are only a short distance away, and the village of Mixourroma is only around a 6 minute drive away. Mixourroma has a small shop with a bakery as well as a lovely traditional taverna ran by your local host Antonis, rated best in the area on TripAdvisor. In addition, the larger village of Spili is only a 10 minute drive away, offering an abundance of tavernas and shops.

Having only started renting the property to holidaymakers over the past couple of years, we have made significant improvements to the property. We aim to meet our guests' every need and do everything we can to ensure you enjoy your stay with us.
Having fallen in love with the island of Crete after holidaying here with our two children for the past 8 years, we purchased this property and started renting it out in the hope we could help many more holidaymakers enjoy the beauty of the island.
